We got a new brewery! Leaving Houston for good.

Finally getting a new brewery

For some time, we have been considering getting a new location for a home brewing station and looking to sell one of our old locations in Texas while wanting to keep our location in Wisconsin at the same time.

New Location

To say the least, this hasn’t been easy. I wanted to sell my house fast for cash in Houston and had to move all the brewing supplies from it to our new location. This would require a lot of work to get the all the brewing supplies to a new location as well as a lot of trucks and manpower. Although, this would not be an issue because of the help of friends and family.

Leaving Houston

We thought we would like to choose another location in the Houston area but as time went on I decided I just wanted to sell my house in Houston fast for cash and relocate to another city where I could set up my next new home brewing station. Finding a real estate agent who was willing to cooperate with my long lists of needs topped by a needed area for a home brewing station was not easy but I eventually found one that was able to help

Houston Real Estate Agent Finding a real estate agent who was willing to cooperate with my long lists of needs topped by a needed area for a home brewing station was not easy but I eventually found one that was able to help. Their name is Houston Area Home Cash Buyers and they were able to sell my home extremely fast and also help me find another one that met all my wants and needs. Overall, my experience with them was wonderful and I would recommend them to anyone who is looking to get rid of their home in Houston fast and for a fair cash offer.

New Location Coming Soon

Currently, we are in the process of moving everything over from our old brewery in Houston to a new location we will be announcing very soon for everyone to see!

Lastly, for a little sneak peek, this is something what our new set up is going to look like!

Considering a new location!

We are thinking about getting a new brewing location!

Hey everybody, just wanted to drop a short post letting everybody know that we are considering  getting a real estate agent and moving locations and setting up more home breweries in other cities and states.

While this idea has just recently sprouted we are going to try to act on it really quickly! We have no idea what other city we are looking to relocate to yet, however, we are looking to head somewhere south like Texas.

If anybody has any suggestions please contact us and let us know.

In the meantime here are some tips for choosing a home brewery location.

  1. Make sure it is the right fit and don’t rush into a new location. When you are seeking a new location make sure you take the time and resources to really seek out a location that is perfect fro your operation. Don’t settle for anything less than exactly what you are looking for. Also make sure it is easily accessible to you and whoever else will be helping you maintain the setup, nothing is worse than when you need to check the mash and you can’t because the set up is two miles down a back road and your snowed in.
  2. Pick a location you won’t have to move from in years to come. Pick a place where you can see yourself brewing fine wine and beer from for years to come.

The Search For a Local Painting Service in Ohio

So like the title says we decided it would be in our best interest at William James Brewing to give our home brewing room a new look. So we decided we were going to redecorate the entire brewing station with a fresh new coat of interior paint. This being said we had a lot of decisions to make surrounding our new found decision to spice up our brewing room. Things we had to take into consideration were things like how much time would we use up while getting the project done, who would we hire to do it, and how much are we looking to spend to get the entire thing finished up.

Realizing this we decided it would be great to hire a local painting company to do the work for us. We chose this because clearly we are staying within our values by supporting a local company as well as being able to be the most cost effective and stay within the budget.

Home Brewery Paint Coating While we decided to support a local painting service we did not want to sacrifice any quality in the work either so we did a fair amount of research to ensure we chose a painter in the Toledo area who could effectively and efficiently finish our job while also making our home brewery look exactly how we desire.

It didn’t take long till we came across a company called ReNu Painting who said they could easily perform the job, so we decided to go with them. They worked extremely fast and did a fantastic job. We were able to find this company through a post about Toledo Painting Service.

Needless to say, ReNu Painting did a great job on our brewery and we at Willaim James Trading can’t wait to show off our new look to all our viewers and customers! ReNu offers many other great services including residential and commercial painting. However, they may be most known for their Toledo exterior painting service. Nonetheless, they did a great job and we are happy with the outcome.

Overall, we were glad we decided to paint our home brewery. It increased the resale value and not to mention it gave us the spark we needed to really give a 100% into our brewing operation. Check out this video that we modeled our new look for our Home Brewing Operation after!

The first thing you need to do is decide what are you going to brew, while this might sound like a quite obvious statement often times people order and buy the wrong supplies because they jumped the gun before they even decided what they really wanted to brew in the first place.

The next thing you will have to do is decide what specific recipe you will want to brew. Finding an exciting wine or beer recipe is quite simple thanks to all the online resources that are available for these types of things now a days. All  you have to do to find a great recipe is a simple Google search of what you are specifically looking for.

Now you will have to begin to gather all your supplies and necessary ingredients to create your first batch of homemade wine and beer. While it should be relatively simple to do this sometimes it can become slightly costly so it is best to shop around and find the best deal. Look here for a list of necessary home brewing supplies.

From this point on the home brewing process comes somewhat complex and can easily confuse a beginning brew master if they don’t pay special attention to all the small details necessary to make their first batch of homemade alcohol a complete success.
